    Default Big smile

My grandson called and said he needed to go fishing and wanted to bring Harry(4yrs old). We started at 6:am the next day and fished all morning throwing spinners and jigs, looking for white bass, nothing. at about 1pm we stopped and put some power bait on a jig head to see if we might catch a catfish. Mine had been out about 5min. and I got a hit, I picked up my pole and handed it to Harry and ask him to hold it for me, he had it a min. and said he had a bite, he sat the hook and started to real, every crank of the real pulled him closer to the side of the boat, I grabed the back of his life jacke as he started to go over the side.

    12 pounds of ugly.

Nothing better in the whole world.
    Birddog,

I pray that I may live to fish until my dying day. And when it comes to my last cast I then most humbly pray. When in the Lord's great landing net and peacefully asleep. That in His mercy I be judged, BIG ENOUGH TO KEEP.

I Think that is great! Mine is just about to turn 4 in November and I also have had him out a couple of times. I would take him more but it is just so hot down here.

What lake is that? I noticed the snow capped mountains in the backgroud a really nice well framed shot!

The smile on a kids face after catching a fish is one of those things to treasure forever!
