    Default Flyrod bass n sunfish


    Casey took me out in his canoe for some evening bassin' . I tried some flyrod poppers I made that worked pretty good. Got a few bass and a sunfish

    Me and fishface got out sunday afternoon for more panfish and bass on the fly in our float tubes. They were down near the bottom in two to six ft and biting lite...

    I got out for a couple of hours this evening looking for some panfish to break in my new 3 wt flyrod, got a few...

    Butterfly


    Pretty largemouth, not too big, but felt like a whale on my tiny rod!



    got a few gills on a jitterbee like fly I made today

    another great evening to be on the water!

    I got out for a bit afterwork for a few casts, WOW the days are getting too short, just enough time for some bank fishin, nothing biting but tiny sunfish but sure was nice to be outside!

    Nice pictures; I think if I took my camera out in one of those float tubes it would wined up in the lake.

    I got out for a few casts this morning and landed this colorful pumpkinseed sunnie...





    This storm spawned a few twisters not too long after I took these pics near Mendota hights...

    Me and fishface jim hit a local metro lake for some fly fishn he got there a little before me and saw a nice rainbow right by the access, grabbed his rod and caught it! about a 2 pounder! too bad i wasnt there to take a pic! then we saw one much bigger cruising around eating bugs on top too. We tried to fool him for a while then jumped in our tubes and looked for some bluegill action...

    I got to go fishing last weekend in the GEM pontoon and got some good action with sunfish, bass, pike, and even a small musky that flopped in the drink while I was getting my camera ready!
