Default Photos , not Crappie fishing, but staying cool

Here when it's too hot to Crappie fish we wade small streams. The Crappie Tubes cast while wading are just the ticket. Those small Bass (Largemouth,Smallmouth ,and Spotted ) and Green Sunfish love them. Great way to cool off and still get in a little fishing.

    Default what fun

When I did my tour of duty in Pittsburgh, I found a little stream north of the city that I would do the same thing in. Except I threw roostertails. I caught lots of small mouths and bream. It was great!!!! But, I enjoy dropping a jig in a brush pile from my boat while in Arkansas much more.

If I found a stream like that here right now I would lay down in it for a while.

I do the same thing except in the Allegheny river below the dam for several miles to and past warren PA. In the Conawango as well north of warren. I sometimes wade up to my neck in water. I guess that isn't wading. :D Sure is fun. Man lookin at these pictures is gettin me all charged up about fall. My favorite time of year. Wish I could take a dozen of you on a fall tour. You'd all get an idea of the REAL NY.
