    Default New state record striper caught


    Noel Arnold caught this 27+ pound striper using our lights last week. Its a new inland record for us by several pounds.

    Our state record is 67 pounds but thats a river record from the CO river. Land locked is now this big guy. Incidentally they are an invasive species in lake Pleasant with no limits and 300 fish nights are common. 300 fish nights are also a TON of fun!

    Nice fish,our record on Lanier is 46# caught on 8# line, those big stripers put up a good fight and if you take the red meat out they are great to eat.Good Fishing....Dennis
