I bought the H2O but it didn't come with a memory card. Do I have to purchase a special memory card from lowrance or can i use a camera memory card?
Thanks for you help.

You can use any MMC or SD memory card.

Thanks. I saved some maps from the website to the card and put it in. I was trying to save them to the unit but then realized the unit automatically recognizes them and runs them from the card. I think this thing is going to be fun to use. thanks for your help.
No problem. Lowrance makes that pretty easy. Software updates are just as easy. Download it to the card, put the card in and turn it on. Thats it. If my memory serves me (and often it doesn't) it does not automatically write your waypoints to the card. But its simple to transfer them to it and back if you update the card using a waypoint management program.Originally Posted by jigsbydirk

Where on Lowrance's web site did you find these maps? Are they free? I just purchased the H2Oc w/MMC-SD card, and am interested.Originally Posted by jigsbydirk

looks like the most maps are from Tex., Okla., and Ohio. We may have to migrate.
Does this included NAVIONICS HotMaps?
