Ky Lake Report

[Cane Pole]

I drove to the lake this morning to check things out. It was seriously hot. When I got there, I noticed my neighbor sitting on his front porch with bandages on both his legs. I went to see what happened and to comfort him if need be.

I asked him what had happened and he said he would show me. He unwrapped the bandages from his legs. It was awful. There was no meat left on his legs.

Again, I asked what happened. He said he went wade fishing down by my dock and that the lake water was so hot, it boiled the meat off his legs.

This was a good indicator that the fish were not gonna bite good. Honey and I just packed up and came back home.

It was so hot here today that six crappie, three white bass, a walleye and a black bass couldn't wait to get in my boat when they overheard me say we had icewater in the livewell!

lol - whine whine whine :D Now I will shut up - winter is comin and then I'll be whining. Though it is 66 degrees now and it was 78 today. So perfect I just had to do nothin. Well, except fish.

It was so hot today that I seen a lot lizard [ prostitute ] selling ice and sunglass's at a local truck stop.
She said she made more money selling the ice [very ugly] than selling anything else.
