I've used both the Sam Sig and the Wally Sig. Both are great rods. To me the Sam seemed softer with a faster tip. The Wally was a little heavier and stiffer. I like both of them for different conditons. Other really good rods are the BnM Ultra Lite and the Richard Williams Sig Crappie Wizzard rod also being made by BnM. The UL is great for pole-in-hand tightling and the Wizzard rod is working really well in a rodholder. I use a slipfloat rig but I can see it working great for slow trolling / spider rigging.
