Question Nighthawks-OK to use 12v pwr supply?

A fellow crappie fan fishes at night exclusively from a long fixed pier and dock equipped with 110v outlet power. He recently received an Optronics submersible
combo green fluor/led 300,000 cp which has 12v battery
clips and pulls less than 4 amps. Could he use a 25amp
switching power supply to convert the ac to dc and not
have to lug a battery for long distances? I would think he could run any combination of 12v lighting as long as he did not exceed the 25 amp load on the pwr supply?

    thanks mucho

Sure, as long as you don't exceed 25A you can run several of them off it.
