Send me a pm with your email address in it and I will send you some prints of what I use for a stake bed driver. You can put the stakes in as deep a water as you want to.
Can anybody tell me how to build a stake driver to make stake beds for crappie in about 18 ft. of water?.

Try sharpening your stake about 24" from the bottom and punching a hole in a 3lb coffee can and fit it onto the stake then fill the can with Quick-create. Just drop where you want them and they will stick up if the bottom is soft.
i was just about to tell you to contact 1weezer, also he did a show with Russ that shows his stake driver in action. I recommend getting the video also, some great info on stake placements.

Here is a picture of one somebody posted awhile back. You can add all the pipe you need to work in deeper water. I made mine with two sections 10' that can be screwed together to drive stakes in 20' of water.
