    Default cheesy crappie

tried something "new" last night, and it turned out VERY good ,wife loved it!!!
took a big bag of frozen crappie fillets, thawed overnight.
spray a large deep dish bake pan with pam, fill the pan evenly with the fish, lightly cover with a thin layer of mayo, then cover completly with a thin layer of mozzerella cheese, top the cheese with some homemade(or store bought)sweet HOT relish, the toss on the grill for about 15 to 20 min. or until the cheese at the edges just starts to crisp up. it is going to be my new favorite for fish that has been frozen for awhile. YUM YUM

You put the bake pan and all on the grill?

'sounds interesting.... wonder if it'd work w/ catfish, cut thin?

yep, put the whole thing on the grill, I do think you would need a covered grille, something to keep the heat in to melt the cheese, I use a propane grill but sometimes add a couple of hickory chunks just for extra flavor
