    Default 45min on the Hill

Didn't get on the lake until 5:45pm, before I could get all 8 rods out I had a keeper. I ended up with 6 good crappie, 2 were over 2lbs. Here is those two from today. Sorry about the picture quality, wife new camera phone.

Man I have never been skunked so bad since I was 3! My partner went with me yesterday since his boat is down for maintence and he tore me a new one, he caught about 20 huge slabs and 10 of them were over 2 or right at 2!!!! We were trolling Super flys chart/green/chart, these jigs are just like Hal flys they are sold at Wal-Mart. I can tell you that there are none at the 3 Walmarts in Augusta . We are going pretty fast about 1-1.4mph. Still fishing very shallow, the deepest water 11ft, most of the fish coming in 7ft. I think I'm going to forget to call my partner next time I go .

Thanks for the good info drill instructor. I plan on going to Allatoona Friday. It rained heavy this a.m. and is predicted for most of the week. Hope all the rain doesn't drive them back deep. The only way to know.....is to go.....right! I'll post to the results.

Thanks again drill.....p.s.....nice picture of those slabs. I caught some like that last year on toona.
