Minn Kota Terrova™ 80 Bow-Mount Trolling Motor with AutoPilot™
With the Copilot system.
Anyone used one of these?
I have the old Minn Kota AutoPilot™ Motor with the built in transducer and auto pilot.
Love this one. But hate the foot control on it.
But like the looks of the Terrova. So if you have one or have used one what do you think of the foot control for it?

Ditto to what J said.Ive had one all summer, and love the new deploy and the foot feed. The copilot is a nice option as well, depending on how your fishing.PJ

i've got one and love it. i us the co-pilot most of the time but i lost the remote control and before i could get a replacement i used the foot control and it works great. also you can use both. when using the remote on the cp it only has 5 or 6 speed controls but if you have the foot control hooked up you can dial the variable speed to get it exactly like you want. was pulling crank baits last weekend and had to use this method to get the exact mph i was wanting. great system i love the autpilot more than anything. just set a course and forget it.

Shilo, I have the same motor you have now and you're right. The foot pedal stinks but buy a co-pilot and don't use the foot pedal. I love mine. I strap the control beside my watch looking the opposite way my watch does. (toward the inside of my wrist.)
Don't know anything about the Terrova except I thought it was overpriced.
I read somewhere that people were complaining about Terrova's noise. Can't imagine what would cause that.
Good luck, whatever you decide.
