    Default Hot Weather Slabs (Pics)

Debra and I went out during the heat of the day for a combination swimming/fishing trip. We caught these about 13 feet deep on brushpiles. Ended up with about 12 for dinner tonite!

Nice fish for any time of year, especially now. Were you long line trolling or just spider rigging? Again, good job.

We were vertical jigging brushpiles but had to fish about 3 feet deeper than normal because of high water. Caught some on minnows.

Yea, She put it on me pretty good today. We had about 6 like the one in my pic and the rest were small but keepers. I lost one about 1 1/4 lb by trying to lip it instead of reaching for the net.

Sorry I didn't get with you NIMROD on building those beds this afternoon but I had to get Dad's yard cut before dark. I'll pick up a few more pallets this week. Maybe next weekend.

Sure is Tom! It does pretty well for 160 vertical pixels. I plan on updating to an SI unit and a better unit one of these days. Keep posting those good SI pics and telling us what we are seeing down there! I really enjoy looking at them.

Slab, I really like your large head method of jigging. I know you have described the heads before, but could you give us a description of your technique and gear? Your not far from Ouachita. Have you ever used that method there in the clear water?
