I've lived in Troy for a couple years now and have been looking for a good access for the Cuivre River. I've found a couple, but they're either on private land or impossible to get a boat into. Where do you put in at Old Monroe?
Anybody been fishing the Cuivre River @ Old Monroe?

Cross the OLD bridge, right after the old bridge, make a right across the RR tracks....down a gravel road about 1/2 mile....ramp.

Not to hijack the thread, but how was your Reelfoot trip this year?

Hey Bails. thanks for the directions. I found the ramp. Just wondering what kind of boat you put in on Cuivre. I've heard there's a lot of shallow places. Didn't know if I'd be better off using my big boat or little boat. Thanks
My trip with the wife at the end of March was awesome....2.5 days of fishing ant 17 bags of fillets....some NICE fish too...then, two weeks of freezing temps...and my april trip was the worst in 16 years...one day in the pads was awesome...the rest of the trip....was a struggle to bring in 30 fish (2 guys)....
Cuirve River- I use my 16 foot all weld 45 jet...no problems.
