Default What color crank bait are you having the most luck with?

This is my first year pulling Bandit crank baits and I'm curious to know what colors are working best for those pulling them. Do you change your color based on sunny sky verses cloudy? If so, what colors work best on a sunny day or cloudy day?

As many hours as I've spent doing that, I don't have a clue
I just start off with as many different colors as I can have rods out,
    then change, change, change.

This year, some colors that have been almost sure things in the past
haven't caught a fish - and some that have been just taking up space
in my tackle box have now become the "hot item"

Lately I've got real fond of spray paint, paint pens, and sharpie markers
Seems like when I get onto a hot (for the moment) color, it is ALWAYS
one they've discontinued, or no one has them in stock.

    Smile colors

I usually try chrome when sunny. As J White has said nothing beats a can of spray paint. I pick up cans on sale at wal mart and will try ANY color. Never forget just black, the blackest black you can find for early or late in the day, really cloudy times etc. One word of warning, catfish really big catfish love black, caught flatheads to 40lb., blues to 32lb. on black. i fish somewhat stained waters most of the time and find any of the chartruese work well especially with the red on bottom and the all white works well too. i've found that varying speed and length of line out seems to help me target fish as well or better than color.

I don't think I have one color that dominates over another. I normally start out with all white or a black & chartruese mix though.

I have been doing a lot of trolling. White with chartruse works well as well as blue with chartruse.
To be honest, I think trolling crankbaits is great for catfish and barely marginal for crappie. At least where I fish, it works that way. I have been catching a lot of channel catfish on cranks and not a whole lot of crappie. It suits me though.

I pretty much stick with chrome and black or chrome and blue. I have just about every color Bandit makes but those are my go to colors.

Ok, you've got me interested, guess I'll have to give chrome another go
I used to have a few, but they were white bass magnets and the crappie
at the time didn't seem to care for them... but like I said above, they seem
to have shifted their preferences some over the last few years.
