Heys guys.....What is your favorite crappie lure and what color? I'm trying to stock up some good productive lures for the new tackle box. Thanks!

I make hair jigs I use most of the time, but also use tube jigs in some kind of chartruese or blue/white. These colors work good on our color waters, but might be different where you are.

My favorite lure on Weiss Lake in Alabama is the Southern Pro Hot Grubs. I have tried a lot of different flies and jigs but the Hot Grubs seem to produce more fish. I have several colors that really work great here but the best ones are Black/Blue/Chartruese, Blue/Chartreuse, and Red/Black/Chartreuse. I have the grubs in just about all of the colors but these are the most productive.

I also fish lures by Southern Pro, but I use UMBRELLA TUBES with 1/8th oz unpainted round head leadheads inserted into them. That is the only bait for me on Lake Nimrod for verticle jiggin condos. Favorite colors pink/white , black/chartruse , red /chartruse , silver/white ,and just about any color/chartruse combo.:D Slabs eat big shad here so I use only big baits.

Umbrella tubes in Black and chartreuse, or red and chartreuse on a 1/8th ounce head, orange, or chartreuse

My fave is the lure that is working :D but mostly I love slabbuster tubes, beavertails and crappie thunder.. pink and white, black and char, and red and white. But, I have just about every color known to man( my wife says I have an addiction but I don't know ) but the good old minnow is pretty good too:D

Me and Darrell have the same taste in jigs. Nothing beats Southern Pro Hot Grubs.
