The Rock is high and full of some big floating logs and a lot of other trash. heard about some catfish and gills being caught but not alot of crappie. Fog has been thick in mornings so be careful if you go

The July issue of Crappie World has a nice article on "Trash Fishing for Crappie". Might pick up some good tips off that article to use at TR.

    Default table rock

Fished the rock last night from about 6pm until 7am minus about a two hour nap around 3am. We fished the viola deer buff area with a green light. Being a new guy to crappie fishing I'm still having trouble finding fish. Fished places where I had caught crappie before in 20 to 30 ft. of water and didn't get a bite. I did have about a 3 lb. small mouth up next to the boat and then he spit the hook at me. Did catch several large perch and a catfish.
It was hotter then hell until the sun went down.

    I'm going to bed.
