Ok, Here's my question?? I have a 797si but I have 3 boats. The wife said I can't buy a hummerbird for each of them so I need to buy 2 more transducer and mounting kits. Can you point me in the right direction.

I bought a portable transducer bracket from BPS and rigged mine to be portable. I put a cig lighter plug on power cord. I mounted the unit and GPS puck on a bracket and then put on a Johnny Ray swivel. This way I can swap from boat to boat. One walleye boat; one pontoon boat. I have picks if you need them.

Heck, mine won't even let me buy the first one
Of course if I didn't stay gone fishing all the time and did some
of her "honey-do's" around the house...

Nah, I'll live without it :D

Here is the transducer bracket. I bought the Pontoon model because the "C" part of the clamp can be mounted two ways. Normal to fit a regular transom and 90° to fit the deck of a pontoon.

This is how I mounted the unit and antenna. I used a square plastic elec box to coil up the GPS wire (20').

Honestly, that lasted for about 2 months. Got tired of the switching and raising/lowering the transducer bracket. I bought a "thru-hull" transducer for the walleye boat and put the regular one on the pontoon. I still have the GPS puck mounted like that so I can take the unit to either boat.

I sure do like the sidescan.

    Good luck.
