Man, we have had over 17in of rain this month (5 days) I saw a crappie wearing a life jacket on the 4th.

If we could only 'average' out the lack of rain here and the excess there. It is going to be a scary summer and early fall in the Bay area for fires.

Rainfall during our 'winter' was minimal and there is hardly any snowpack in the Sierras. All of the reservoirs are falling pretty significantly. Several of my fishing spots are 10-15' lower than when I fished in April/May . At this rate, we will be able to wade around and just grab fish in a couple of months .

We can only hope for an early start (September rather than October) of the 'winter' rains.

if there's a good side to all that rain down there it would be that you can fish right out the window.
Best of luck to all of you that are getting too much rain, my prayers are with you.
