    Question Reelfoot Lake Tennessee


    Does anyone out these know the latest status on crappie at Reelfoot lake, such as how they are biting and what baits are being used? I am going to be fishing there Feb. 20-24, 2005 and would appreciate an update from anyone.

    Last Friday 2 of us caught 40 that was big enough to fillet. in about 4 hours.
    Using Rosey red minnows 16ft deep. They would take a while to hit. Had to let the bait sit still a few minutes then they would take it.

    Bit was light and slow. Have no ideal how many in all we caught that day.
    Lower blue basin. we were spider rigging with 16ft poles and 4 hooks per pole.
