    Default Side Imaging


    Hi Guys,

    I was wondering how many people here have one of the side imaging units. Is the number 10 or more like 100? Maybe the Humminbird folks here can tell us how many units have actually been sold. If we have lots with these units, I wonder if we could have a thread that stays on the board for questions, images and things related to the side imaging products from Humminbird.


    Just a thought.:o

    I know there is a yahoo side imaging section but I've found it hard to navigate. A forum style discussion is much easier for me.

    Had mine for about a year its a 987sci i am thinking about selling it and upgrading to a 997.

    I've got a 997 SI and love it...

    Would be using it now but we are flooding in North Texas.

    My 987c-SI was one year old in Feb. Love it and will us it until it quits.
    Do plan on finding out if mine will allow me to hook up one of the new standard color units up and chair the way points with both of them.

    One way to help through all the message on there is make sure when you are in the messages. At the top by the word topics, make sure you selected "group by topic" that will help it to look more like a forum.

    I have 797, and sure enjoy finding new things. I sure think that they have sold the side scans in the thousands.

    Bigger screen easier to read in the sun and alittle more defination on side scan.
