    Default Making me homesick

Post the pic's of the trip. You're making me homesick though. Spent our honeymoon there June 1st, 1968. Took the first week of June every year for 8 years and spent there rain or shine. Still fishing with the same ole gal and a couple younguns 36 and 26 and a couple grandbabies. Lord willing I'll get to fish there again. Is it still a restricted horsepower? Sure wish they had that here on Lake Sam Rayburn. Ferdi

Well actually I did not get to go. My wife's mom fell and broke her leg. It is still a 10 hp lake. Alot of new houses built in the last 3-5 years but is still my favorite lake.

Sorry to hear your Mom in law broke her leg, hope she's doing well. If she gets to feeling bad tell her to be thankful she's not a horse. I like the HP restriction except when you are way down by the dam and a storm blows up. It seems to come at you from every direction, took a good while to get back to the camp ground with a little 5 horse merc pushing a long jon boat. Get the Mommy in law taken care of and fish when you can. Ferdi aka Fred
