Around here, I think that fly would imitate a yellowjacket wasp pretty well.
I've found those in a fishes stomach more than once...
    I have a jig with a face like this!

    Thanks guys!

Does anyone think that making them just one color would be better? I have about 6 colors I can mix and match with 4 colors of legs. I do plan on getting more leg colors though. I have Black, FL. Chart, Orange, 2 yellows a little different with one bright Yellow and the other Gold and Olive.

Also I have 2 different shapes with one flat on one end and the other rounded or oval shape and the other is oval on both ends, but has to be a little longer unless I just cut it shorter and then the first one would be the same, LOL! I am going to work on some other shapes; maybe a frog shape and frog foam pattern?

Skip I use an all black spider fly when I fly fish for gills. It works unbelivably good. So I say make some solid color ants.
