clearwater lake

headed to van buren next week, just wondered how is the fishing on clearwater? planning on fishing on the current, but maybe go to clearwater for a day if it is worth it?

I haven't fished Clearwater yet this year. Last year I could catch alot of crappie there but no size. I'd catch 30 to 50 to get one or two keepers. Good Luck.

I was there this weekend. Was not fishing, just visiting a friend, but did drive down to the boat dock and ask about fishin.
Some are being caught but little ones. They have no size limits on crappie at Clearwater.
I may go this fall after the lay off.

wife changed plans, trip cancelled. going to taneycomo the 4th, 5th, 6th instead. may try to get to clearwater in the fall.
