    Default Big Thanks

Big thanks to all ove you guys for answering my questions and discousing great topics. I just got back from a lake that i fish maybe 3 to 4 times a year and every trip it feels as though i am only puting in one peice to a 3-D skyskraper puzzle and come home without putting any fish in the boat, but thanks to all of you I caught more crappie then I thought existed in that lake And the way the were holding and where the are holding i figured that i can find them almost every month of the year. So once agan thanks.

    Hey Ian:

That's GREAT! Aint life grand!! It amazes me how many people I see fishing that don't appear to have the foggiest idea of what they are doing and they rarely have any success. In the "Information Age" we live in it's pretty easy to do a little research and learn how and where to do just about anything.

You should be commended for taking the time to do the research and ask the questions that resulted in your success!

Thanks for sharing your success with us - it's nice to know that our time sharing here is well spent.

it feels good. I have been trying to figure out that lake for years. So i got a map found three likely places tried each one and picked up a couple small fish, but when I got to the thrid location my fishfinder went black about two feet to six feet off the bottom and it was like that all over the bay. so yeah it feels good.

Glad to hear of the success. I guess that means that a crappie is a crappie is a crappie, no matter what section of the country. Good show.
