Default We're Thankful For The Rain

this afternoon brought a bananza of rain showers to our area that is over 18 inches in arrears on rainfall. Fellows i'm here to tell ya that water is standing in my back yard for the first time in over 1 1/2 years. two trees have died in my yard and had to be cut because of the drought. I never thought i would rejoice so soundly to see rain. THANK YOU LORD. This has been two of the driest years that I can remember.

Glad you got the rain, as I'm typing this....we are finally getting a good rain here. We have been 11" below normal. Hope we can start eating away at that deficit.

Oklahoma usually gets 20" or so a year and we have already received over 30" and more is on the way. "How high is the water momma?"

All of the rain you are getting is flowing down the Arkansas. It has had traffic messed up for over a month. Besides that, I am having to tow the toon boat to the lake instead of playing on the river so far this summer.
