A buddy of mine has one with a 75 on it and it will run 42.....I'd say in the low 30's.

fast enough to catch a crappie. No two will run the same speeds, running the same engines. If you're thinking of buying a new one, take the time to eyeball the bottom of the boat while it's sitting on the trailer. Make sure it has no hooks or rockers built into the bottom. It needs to be straight and fair. Good luck.

    Cool How fast???

I'm fishing in a 16" Bass Tracker with a 40 HP Murcury that is fairly well loaded with weight, I'm a slight 245Lbs, and I only get to about 27-28 trimmed out and wide open!!!! I'd like to see a 75 Hp on the back of mine, but I don't want to spend the money. Plus I do get pretty good gas mileage with the 40HP!

Default I Bought A New Bass Tracker 175

I Bought A New Bass Tracker 175 With A 60 Hp. Took It Out On Smooth Water By My Self. Opened It Up. It Was Going 43. By The Speedo. When I Trimed The Motor It Would Go 47. That Is Flyin Across The Water. You Dont Half To Go Fast To Catch Fish. Going That Fast In A Small Boat Is Spooky.
