Default Neighbors New Ride and a fishie too....Pics

Went with my neighbor to pick up his new pontoon. This is his first boat. Needless to say, I spent most of the day Saturday showing and telling. He had never used a GPS, sonar, or even steered a boat before. A few hours, and he was comfortable (kinda) with everything. Wind came up (imagine that) and he wanted me to dock the boat at his new boat dock. I turned him down of course. After a few tries, he figured how to maneuver his barge with the wind. ha. He was a quick study. He listened and asked a million questions. We gonna practice GPS and sonar next week.

He took Honey and I for a spin around Big Sandy. I didn't offer to help put the cover on the boat. Let him sweat it out in the heat...haha

I managed to pick up a few nice slabs out front of my boat dock early this morning. Borrowed a few minnows from my neighbor ( he wasn't up so I helped myself to some of his minnows) and floated them in about 6 to 8 foot of water. Had them fishes (not minnows) for breakfast.

    Fish and eggs. Gooooooooooooooooood.

    We had a large time.

Hey Tom, I've been looking at those Yamaha Rino's. Is that yours in the pics? If so how do you like it?

Yep. I like it lots better than the Mule I had. Lots more power. I use it to launch my boat mostly. I had a front 2" receiver mounted. Lots easier to push froward than to back up. I ain't a good backer upper.

LOL, yes driving a boat is quite a bit different than driving a car. So them first timers have their work cut out for a bit.

    Nice looking boat though!
