View Full Version : Traveled to Kentucky Lake, Big Sandy

yup, I was in Tom aka Cane Pole country. Saw Richard Williams on the water and stopped for a second to say hello. I like his boat. Saw many tight liners fishing and catching a few fish. We got lucky and caught some very nice fish. We brought home 23 fish for the freezer. The wind was out of the north so we got behind the point under the powerlines and fished on the east band and trolled with the wind. Here is our pictures. I will post them in different posts so they will pop up for easy veiwing.

23 Kentucky Lake-Big Sandy crappie in the sink going, just a short layover before going in the grease!!

doesn't matter if the tape slipped they are still about 13" nice catch.

Sombody needs to give a class for crappie in being photogenic, or maybe the 'catcher' needs coaching. Mine flip and flop and fin. I think they are sticking their middle fins up at me...

Nah, if those fish came out of one of my holes, they would not of been able to fit on the page. LOL Just the picture of my fish weighs 3 pounds. LOL:) :D ;) :eek:

When you came by country you were headed south to seminole...How did that go..
great catch up there in KY lake. You better watch who ya see on the water.. You know what they say about RW...:)

Great trip, nice mess of fish! One of these years I'll head South for some of that white crappie action!
