Makes me wonder if some of these aren't staged?

A lot are staged. That is the attracting part of his show. He, Al Linder and Jimmy Houston also do a good job of teaching ideas, concepts and skills too.

I've watch Bill since he's been on TV ... I've been a member of his website since 2001 (same time I joined here) ... and I've "always" heard that - Bill doesn't have to "stage" any of his bloopers :p he really is just that much of a regular "good ol boy" ... and a bit of a clutz ... and "things" just happen. Luckily, for us, most of the time the camera's rolling :D

That's the fun part. Many were staged when he first started. They went over big. He is also a clutz like me and some of you. If it wern't for guys like Bill Dance, Babe Winkleman, Hank Parker, Al Linder, Roland Martin, Ray Scott, Shipahoy 41 and Jimmy Houston our sport would have been dead in the water before you could say Boo!

I watch their shows always trying to get an "Angling Edge" LOL

He has so many of that kind of blooper and they are all funny and some had to be painful too, like when he kicked his trailer hitch when walking around the back of his truck. I have done that and you couldn't pay me to do it again with out it being an accident. When that steel hits your shin it's really bad!
