    Default A Question of Chartreuse?

I don't know why but it feels to me like most people/fishermen say Chartreuse they are talking about FL. Chartreuse or the Green Chartreuse, but when I say Chartreuse I am talking about FL Yellow or the Yellow Chartreuse. If I am speaking about the Green Chartreuse I say FL. Chartreuse.

So the question from me is which one do you say and mean for Chartreuse?

Now both of these jigs below are the FL. Yellow, but for some reason taking a pic of this color is hard to keep it from coming out looking like FL Chartreuse. I have had this come up before and still this seems to keep going on. So here is my Red/Chartreuse...

    And my Black/Chartreuse....

The tail on this White body Glow Jig is FL Chartreuse for an example...

I'm with you Skip - when I say Chartreuse, I'm talking about the FL yellow.
Whe I buy tubes, I buy FL yellow ones and the color name on the package is "chartreuse". When I talk about the green chartreuse - I call it something line "super lime" or FL green. To me, chartreuse means that "day-glo" yellow that I catch crappie on.

Id have to say Yellow. When someone asks what color I was using, if it's Green, id say Green. If it's Yellow, id say Chartreuse.....However, my fishing buddy calls baits with Green and Yellow together Chartreuse :o

It's like the feathers in the bottom pic, that is FL. Chartreuse and I find a lot of people just call that Chartreuse and it makes it confusing so I have to make sure when someone orders that I understand their view of Chartreuse. I hardly ever hear people say FL. Chartreuse even if that is what they mean.

If you order tubes and they are Black/Chartreuse you can bet the Chartreuse is FL Yellow and not Green.
