    Default SE Virginia Slabs!!!

Kentucky Lake, Grenada, Sardis, Greeson, pffft, they have nothing on SE Virginia!

    Slab #1

    Slab #2

    I'm considering becoming a professional guide. :D

On the serious side, those two monsters are from yesterday and I did manage to catch 82 (which is a lot for me) but they were mostly in the 7"-9" range with the biggest going 13.5" and 1lb 4oz.

i think you got those here from my home lake!! ha ha! I am with you on the dink patrol. it seems like every time i go, i will catch 10 dinks to every keeper. I think most of the big fish are out suspended in deep water. the only problem is here on my oxbow at the house, there's no such thing as deep water.

Hey there Tapout64, Those are some good pics. We catch a whole lot of those dinks here in westcentral Arkansas too. It amazes me how such a small crappie will take on a 3" long Beavertail jig!

Nice fish (the ones you brought in the house), but you've gotta love those dinks!!!!

out of the 150-200 fish I got Sunday 20 were legal keepers (over 9"), the rest were 5' to 8".

No complaints though - I'd rather catch a ton of dinks than catch nothing at all - the non-stop action is just plain fun.
