    father if 4

I am in Abilene, I tie jigs for my own use. Certainly not an expert like Skip and some others, but they catch crappie. If I can help, let me know. My tying is more like a poorman's attempt at jig tying. Haha If I can help, let me know.

Thanks Mudd Dabber. I just came thru Abilene Saturday on my way to Lufkin to see my Folks. Of course it was around 6am when I passed thru lol. I sure appreciate your offer and I may just take ya up on it. Hey if you havent heard of Lake Kickapoo by Wichita Falls, you should definately try it out sometime. Its the closest I have ever felt to being at home without being at home. Theres a great bunch of folks there.

Thanks I will keep it in mind. He's not at that point yet, but probably will be soon enough. He is still having surgeries and still has some test on the nerves in his left leg to find the exact place his nerve trouble for his left leg and foot are. He can not move his left foot at all, but they have some attachment to keep his toes up so he can walk pretty normal looking. He still has a long way to go even though he was injured December 22 2006.

And really, we can talk on the phone at some point if you need any help. If you want to know about vise and tools we can talk too. I don't use a cheap vise though. I like a true rotary vise and the cheapest one is a Danvise at some where between $65-$80 depending on where you buy it. I used one for almost a year before I made the jump to my vise I have now and I sold my old one not too long ago. Anyway if you already knew you would like it you could save buying a cheap one first, but no one knows until the try.

Thanks. I dont know if they have your son at 100% right now but if he is having all of the surgeries to correct millitary related injuries, he should be rated 100% atleast temporarily until they decide what his percentage is. Anytime you have surgery on a service connected dissibility and are not already 100% they make you 100% until you are able to return to work. Also if he gets rated permanantly 100% his wife and children will be eligable for Chapter 35 benefits which means if they go full time college, they will get over $800.00 a month to go to college on. Good luck to you all and God Bless.
