This one looks like both a crappie killer and good for brim.

Couldn't get the pix to copy.

    ScatBack

ScatBack™: This water-logged bug has a quick searching action and an internal rattle that is designed to target trout and panfish. The Scatback has a swimming depth of 1 to 3 feet. “No matter how long you’ve fished, or how many lunkers you’ve caught, hooking a nice bluegill or crappie on ultralight gear is still a thrill,” said Mark Fisher, Storm director of field promotions and fishing pro. “For trout anglers, the ScatBack will prove to be a valuable addition to your arsenal. Its shallow swimming depth of one to three feet makes it ideal for trout streams.” Suggested retail price: $4.49

I'll stick with jigs for a fraction of the price.

Oh I will too mainly but I just thought they had some unique looking lures. I have had a few days when their Wild-eye Swim baits got the most bites and they are not too hi-$.

Swim baits are the flavor of the month for the bass guys. *Sometimes* I browse their forums to see what they are talking about. I can't believe how much they spend on the higher end ones $20-$80 a piece! I have used little Bluegill Storm swimbaits (plastic bag ones) and they do work well. I'm just having too much fun with Jigs atm to change to anything else.

I don't know about xcrappie ,but the pike & walleyes would have a field day on those baits.

The spin tail shad is my favorite! Not too high either.
