Big fish?
All input appreciated.
I've had an Eagle FishMark 500c up front in my boat but added a Lowrance X510C to the rear. It has much better pixel resolution and I'm able to see a lot more with it. I'm still trying to make sure that I know what I'm looking at so help me out if you can.
Are these two pics a ball of baitfish?
Is this a ball of baitfish just above the weed line?
What exactly am I looking at here? I was trolling crankbaits when I took the pic, it's not my lure or anything like that.
Ball of baitfish to the right of some structure and fish?

UFO's!!!!
Actually, if the guy I fish with on Lake Ontario is'nt BS'ing me when we see graphs like that, pods of baitfish is what they are - some look like baitfish with some bigger fellers trying to eat 'em.
Looks like baitfish and then all the littler arches around it are bigger fish try to eat them. The other thing it it could be cover like a tree with fish relating to it? Do you have the greyline feature? and are you using it?
A couple of your pictures look like a large tree top but the rest of them does look like a bait ball with fish around it.
Bait fish is the big images and the line of small dots is the thermocline. The bait fish is near a drop off. Top signals could be air bubbles or feed back from a hard bottom.
I would have slow rolled a spinnerbait through it. A lot of the time the crappie will show up as a straight line at an angle to the direction in which you are moving.
My interpritation would be that the first two are tightly formed baitfish the rest look like baitfish spread out with bigger fish chasing them.

It looks like baitfish in the first couple, weeds with some baitfish, maybe a large fish rising from the bottom or some logs, and a tree top or brush with some fish around it.

I see the St. louis arch in one of them. Or McDonald's arches.
I was going to suggest Nessie.
