    Default Ann Arbor crappie/bass


    I am visiting my folks in Ann Arbor and would like to try some fishing. I am 1900 miles from my home state of WA so i would appreciate any info from fellow crappie.com members. Or at least any reports!! Thanks

    Hey fowlguy. Im also about to take off for a visit to my inlaws up in the Alpena area. If I were you I would target some eyes. Thats not too far from lake Erie but Im sure something must be close to there to fish. Take a look at this link and do a search for what you want to know or join the board and ask. They help me a lot up in that area.

    I know I'm a day late and a dollar short, but I haven't found any of the big crappies lately in the Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor area...only the little dinks. We used to cath them on Belleville lake, but I haven't been out to get them.
    I'd rather be on the lake enjoying the thrill of my rod telling me there's a fish on the end of my line. :D
