That looks like alot of fillets right there!! Nice catch.
We have been doing very well the last month or so trolling cranks. Notice how this crappie completely swallowed the bandit. We ended up with 48 keepers on this trip to Kentucky Lake.

Nice job. This is my first year pulling Bandit crankbaits and I'm still experimenting, (and learning) would you mind answering a few questions? How fast were you going? How much line did you have out? Which series are you having most luck with? (I have 100's, 200's and 300's) Any one color do best?

Nice catches! I've never tried crank baits for Crappie. Guess I have something new to try now.
How many of you change out the hooks on the bandit crankbaits? They come with #6 treble hooks. I was trolling bandit 300s last week and many times saw the poles bend but did not get hook-ups (was running about 50-60 feet of line at 1.6 mph in 19 feet of water). I did catch a fair number of crappie in short time but saw as many or more times a small quick bend without a hookset. I'm wondering if the small hooks are a factor. I'm thinking about changing to #4 red treble hooks (like the Wally Marshall crankbaits use). Also, if I change the hooks do I need to change front and back set? Lastly, if I change to large hooks will this hurt the motion of the crankbait?
I'm really new to crankbait trolling and would appreciate any and all help.
Thanks...Dan
