Paul's grandmother, who suffers from Alzheimer's and is in a nursing home, has had a stroke today. Hospice doesn't think she'll be with us much longer. I believe in my heart that it will be a blessing when her suffering ends, although it's never easy for the ones left behind. So, if you will, say a prayer for my sweetie and his family.

Prayers answered and on the way. I lost my dad two years ago to Alzheimers and spoke in behalf of it for Volunteers of America.
They do suffer and it is a blessing to be taken to Heaven versus living in the hell they call Alzheimers.
God Bless You All our thoughts are with you.

Vonna, you and Paul are in our thoughts and prayers. Know what your going through. As my mother was inflicted with it. It was a sure enough blessing when she passed. Call, pm, stop by, or send an email if you need any thing.
Have a crappie day!:D [email protected]
My prayers for strength to see you through what ever comes. You've had a rough time lately, positive thoughts too.
What makes a better lightning rod than a graphite fishing rod? NOTHING!
I know it must be painful to see her in the condition she is in. Thoughts and prayers for you and your family during these tough times.
When my dad was diagnosed with abdominal lymphoma both my mom and I knew he didn't have it in him to fight cancer. Unknown to each other we both prayed the same prayer when we were told. We both asked God to fix him or take him, but please don't let him suffer. 6 weeks later he was gone and he hardly suffered at all. I don't think I have ever had a time in my life when I could so obviously see God working. It was his time and God was merciful. I know He can be merciful to Paul's grandmother as well. God will give you His peace and show you, your family and her kindness during this rough time if you ask for it.
It doesn't hurt that a bunch of crappie anglers are praying for her too.
Good things come to those who bait.
