The fish were deep this last weekend and the Osage was the arm to be in.
Thanks for the info guys. Hatch Im staying at my house at LOZ and driving over that day. If I see you I will stop and say hi. We will be in a burgundy champion if you happen to see us. Good luck
Go to the State park ramp, go straight across lake to Thibaut Point gap, go through the gap and fish first bank and cove (cut) to the right 12' deep on brush. Pearl White and Pink tube jigs slow and just off the bottom.
Try it you'll like it.
Does anyone have recent info on the fishing on Truman?? Specifically on the Grand River Area?? How high is the lake?? Is there still a lot of debris on the lake?? Thanks for any insights.
smile, people always wonder what you are up to
lake is falling I think 8' 9' high and the summer pattern is almost here but with the un stable water level they may be spotty and I am hearing the water is in pretty good shape as well..... Good Luck I will know for sure tomorrow......:D
Hatch, how'd you do?
Jim - Have boat - will travel.
Only managed 6 fish on Sat. had one die on us, pre fishing produced big crappie but on sat. there was way to much current in the osage and our spots were empty! we caught fish but our good fish were not around, most of the guys who fished the Osage did very well, we just struggled all day..
Oh well, better luck next time. I'll watch for you on the water.
