    i bought one of these fine units about 2 months ago and was wondering if anybody else had one and how they liked it. also would like some tips on how yall are using it. chart speeds; mph;etc also anyone tried to find stake beds and your results.

    Read the thread a couple below yours entitled side imaging. Makes me drool just seeing the pics they have posted in that thread. I think I can swing the 797csi , I hope

    I have one of the 997cSI and also one of the 797cSI units. And I can tell you that these units are worth every penny they cost. I'm still learning how to use them, but I have found so much stuff on the bottom of the lake that I did not know was there. I really bought it so I could start bluegill fishing. I can find bluegill beds and even see if there are any fish in the beds or not. I posted a picture on a thread a few weeks ago and you can actually see the fish inside of the beds.
