They should both be nice units, if money didn't matter I would go with the lorance, but the eagle will prob do everything the lorance will.
I think Lorance actually makes Eagle. They are prob the same unit.

I haven't used the Lowrance but I do have the eagle 320 and it has been a good unit for me. Not one problem in 5 years. It does everything I need for that priced unit.
Monk
Eagle 320 best for the money
Humingbird is a better and more simpler unit to work. Hummingbird 565 to me is a great unit.
I have the X-96. Nice unit.
I have an eagle 480....very impressed with the detail and ease of use.
I had a 480 it messed up after only 2 months and eagle wont return my emails asking about warranty .Moisture got inside and i guess shorted it out cause it will come on but turns itself back off and the power button doesnt work.
