There's some stuff at my WalMart in the marine section called "Sticker-Off" in a little pump bottle. Works great.........finds it's way to the adhesive to break it down. (Hanging beside that is some "Sticker-On"............I guess for gettin stubborn stickers to stick..............I've not tried it).

If I Ain't Crappie Fishin', I'm Thinkin' About It............
Finger nail polish remover works
be careful when/if using it .... it contains acetone which may also melt the clearcoat, paint, or surface of the fiberglass.Originally Posted by Ken Kinser

I have worked with vinyl graphics a lot as well.
You will need a heat gun or hair dryer, a plastic putty knife/scraper (old plastic card), some denatured or rubbing alcohol, and some elbow grease!
If the adhesive is real stubborn, that GOO OFF stuff works really well.
Currently a non-fishing slacker! (not for too much longer)
I"ve used GOO OFF twice-worked good both times!!

Am I the only person that paints the numbers on?
I have removed adhesive residue off of metal surfaces (painted or bare) with brake cleaner with good success.

these stickers are 23 years old and they just flake apart. I heated them up and went to work with a razor blade and a steady hand, followed by goo gone and a lil fingernail actionOriginally Posted by freeflow_23
