    Default Boat ?

    Hey Everyone,

I am looking at purchasing a boat for fishing and duck hunting. I have found a 2005 Camo Lowe Roughneck 18vtc, center console, with trolling motor(foot controll motor guide), and fish finder(Eagle), with a 50 HP Yamaha 2 stroke. The boat has been garage kept and the guy is asking $5500. Does this sound like a good deal?

Also do any of you have any experience with this boat?

Thanks in Advance for your response!!!

if it's all 2005 it should be worth that,i would take the info to some one and see what the blue book appraisal is,, motor may cost that much, then add in the t/motor/depth finder/trailer,,,well you get the idea

With a 50HP, it is almost definitely worth that. If it does not have any major problems (cracked hull/welds or motor problems) It sounds like a good price.

If the boat and motor are 2005, that appears to be a heck of a deal if the motor has been taken care of. Without knowing all the details it appears to be worth $7180 and that doesn't include the trailer or TM. Check it out here.

    Well everyone,

I bit the bullet and purchased the boat. I have been looking for a long time (10 months), and this was the best deal I have seen. The engine looks brand new, and the boat has a few minor scratches. I went on a test run with it before I bought it, and it performed great.

The fish had better be careful feeding now or they may end up in my frying pan.

    THANKS FOR YOUR REPLIES!

Boats work better when they are scratched. Go out on the lake and look for the boat with the most scratches on it. Chances are they people in that boat are hawlin them in.
