The only ones I use are Bandits-pick a color. I use the 300 series but if you are fishing water shallower than 16 foot you might use a 100 or 200 series. I'm quite satisfied with their performance but it is just a personal preference.
I am hearing a lot of talk about trolling cranks for craps.
can anyone tell me what a good starter kit of crank baits would consist of?
Mfg., model and colors. I mostly fish a stained lake so colors for that would be good. also rigging techniques, rods and a general how to and where to.
Thanks
Jigster

Norman makes a great line of cranks for crappie, Bandits are good, also Rebel and Cordell. I don`t think brand is nearly as important as speed, depth, color, etc. I have caught them on most every kind of crank at one time or another. Most important thing keep experimenting with speed, color, depth, brand, etc. Crappie love crankbaits, you WILL catch them. possum1
