    Default Butterfly that fluttered by! *cool closeup pics*


    I was mowing the lawn the other day, stopped, ran inside to get the camera to try and catch a few pictures of this butterfly. I think I got 3 great shots out of 3 taken.
    Check it out.
    You can see it was feeding in this one. :D

    If you look close you can see it's feeding tube thing trying to get to the lilac.

    And here he/she is all spread out.


    Let me know what you guys think.

    Great pics. I used to catch a lot of those in the clover field my Grandpa had. I think if I can remember back that far those are Tiger Swallowtail butterflies. We used to get those, Swallowtails (Blackish/purple) and my favorite were the Monarchs.

    Like the butterfly and the lilacs are something i've not seen in over 40 years, miss them but not the snow that preceeds them.--shu
