Default Memorial Day Fish...Honey and me got 'em....

Got out early this morning the 28th of May ( and before the lice awoke). We managed to boat 28 good fish. Honey floating minnows and I was wearing them out on KY Lake rig. My wrist is sore from holding that rig for 4 hours. We could have caught a lot more, but the boat traffic picked up too much. Most caught 14-16 ft on stuff. Water temp was 78-80 degrees.

Great looking slabs Cane Pole. I can tell that you have more nerves than I do. There is no way that I could put up with that memorial day boat traffic. You had to get out there early.

I had a buddy that braved the morning to green carp fish....he caught a 8lb and 5lb bass. Things must have been good for the fish bite this morning.

    Nice catch Tom!

They prob got the fish from the parking lot "hustlers". Somebody said they were peddling fresh meat up there at the boat ramps. Looks to be true.
