Default PVC Vs Willow? (Need Help Please)

OK I still have not put out the free PVC trees I got 3 years ago, but am about to so I have a question or two for anyone that would care to give me some input.

Most of my brush pile fishing has been brush piles I found and now I need to make some my self and since I am disabled I need to good ideas to make it a little easier to put them in.

I have the (2) PVC 9' tall trees pretty much figured out I think. They are assembled and I put a short piece of noodle material in the top to keep it up right. I am drilling a hole near the bottom to tie them to a 1 gallon bucket of concrete I made with a short piece of chain in it to tie them down. Hope this works!

Does anyone here have any comparison between real brush for this and the PVC trees?

Next I am either going to Quickcrete a few limb pieces in a 5 gallon bucket with Quickcrete to make them stand up right, but am totally worried how I am going to put them in with that much weight. It will be more than I can handle.

I also plan on bundling a bunch of limb pieces maybe 10' long to make a 5' high bundle and weight down with a 1 gallon bucket Quickcrete.

How does this sound and does anyone have any better ideas to help an old broken down shell of a man that I was before my physical troubles?

    Default Pvc

Hey Skip I am sure that someone near you would be glad to help, but you know that they would be fishing them too. If I was over your way I would help out and I would love to fish the Bend again its been a long time since I have. I have been putting Pvc out in some of the lakes that I fish and have just about have them all out now.

What part of the lake are you on?
    Let's go fishing.

I live at 6 mile near the old 6 mile marina; not far off of Hwy 87.

We Recommend Just Tying A Concrete Block To
The Tall Trees, They Float So You Won't Need To
Put Anything In The Ends. For Making Your Own
You Don't Need A Lot Of Weight In The Five Gallon
Bucket. 2 1/2 Gallons Of Concrete Will Do It,
Drill Holes At The Top Of The Concrete Line To Let
The Water In. You Might Consider Making Them Like
Our Crappie Tree And All You Will Have To Do Then
Is Tie On A Concrete Block. Thats About All We Use Anymore.

    Good Luck
