We all know that father's day is coming up. I am a firm believer in giving people their flowers while they are still alive to enjoy them. I can honestly say that there are a few special fishing experts who have touched my life. I am so grateful for CRAPPIEPAPPY and STEVE MACCADAMS.

These are giants in the field of Crappie fishing, and yet they take the time to answer individuals questions. To them no question is stupid, and you feel honored to have a response from them that encourages you.

Pappy and Steve,

For guidance given
and wisdom shared
For special ways
you've shown you cared

Across the miles
Or across the sea
There's a Crappie waiting
For you and for me

As for friends
You are quite a pair
May joy and happiness

You are a father figure to many so you still qualify man.

I know so many youths on this forum have benefitted by your advice. Many at my High School look up to you and the experts here and thank you all for teaching them things their "Absentee fathers" never did.
