    Default Lake Houston Crappie Tournament

What would yall think about getting a little tourney going on lake Houston.

Not a high dollar entry fee or nothing like that. Maybe 25.00 a boat entry fee or whatever. Just a way for all of us to get togeather and fish.

    Just an Idea.

I'd be willing to "donate" a few bucks toward a further education in local crapp fishing. I'd think the timing is good for a two week, or so, heads up.

I have been thinking of trying to host one from Goodtimes Marina for a while now. I bet Shery and Charles would let us use there facility. I would need a estimate on how many people would be intrested. From there we could form a committy to establish the rules and run the tournament.

That sounds good. Maybe have 2 weigh in stations one at good times and one at BJs on the east fork. We need to hurry it is getting to be that time.

Alright I am in. Sound off if you are interested.

Why don't we pick a date and location (restaurant or bar) and invite all interested parties to meet. We can finalize the details with the meeting. We may even want to discuss forming a Crappie Fishing club in this area. This would give us all a chance to share ideas, techniques, and fishing trips.

I am with you big Dave. The next week or so will be difficult for me. I am working in Port Arthur 10 hrs a day and driving 2 hrs each way from Croaby.

You name the time and place (best on a saturday evening)and I will be there.
I like the idea of a Crappie club.
