    Question Crappie feelings - Bump/Scratch/Miss-Hook/

How long does it take for a crappie to recuperate from a Bump/Scratch/Miss-Hook/?

Some of my friends say if you hook a big one and he gets off just before you land him, he will not bite a jig for 3 days.

If you scratch the inside of the mouth when trying to set the hook, then the fish will be back in 30 minutes.

Bump a crappie and he will not bite for 5 minutes.

These are all guesses but I would like your opinion?

Really hard to say for crappie. Usually there are so many others around, odds are you will just catch a different fish.

Other bigger fish like Bass seem to still be aggressive, and will chase that lure down again many times even if hooked slightly.

If you get one to the boat and it comes off, id guess atleast a day or so.

I wouldn't think it would take 3 days, but who knows.

I don't thing we will ever know the answer unless someone did an experiment in a huge aquarium.
